Three days...one powerful platform. From June 13-15, 2008, the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen celebrated its 26th year as America’s premier culinary event with a dazzling array of cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and panel discussions led by top chefs and wine experts. This gastronomic extravaganza showcased the FOOD & WINE way of life and put A. Link jewelry in direct contact with a keenly interested and excited audience of 5,000 attendees. The results, like the event itself, were nothing short of spectacular, partly due to Betteridge Jewelers, the exclusive A. Link retail partner for this very high profile event.
On Saturday, June 14, American Express® hosted a charity dinner for a select group of 200 attendees at the Classic in Aspen. Here, A. Link showcased the Diamond Opera Necklace Collection at this exclusive event. Proceeds went to the benefit of the FOOD & WINE Magazine “Grow for Good” campaign, a national initiative dedicated to supporting local farms and encouraging sustainable agriculture. The dinner was cooked and hosted by Roy Yamaguchi of Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine; Ryan Hardy of The Little Nell; Michel Nischam of The Dressing Room; and Hung Huynh, the Season 3 winner of Bravo’s “Top Chef.” |
